Family Relocates to Anderson to Adopt Produce Business

Greg and Joy Beghtel gathered their three children and headed to Anderson for economic promise. The family, originally from Fishers, purchased 5 acres of land on the southwest side of Anderson. The land currently has strawberries, 56 fruit trees, and various produce. The Beghtels have utilized their lush land as a produce business, Fields of Joy, like the previous owner had with Pastor’s Produce.

"I am impressed with Anderson and especially the City market. I can see it’s filled with people who are really invested in making opportunities and improving success,” said Joy Beghtel.

Fields of Joy opened this week for U-Pick. Pre-picked berries are also available.
Hours: Monday-Saturday 7am-7pm, closed Sunday.
